Sewing Monster Project
Entering Grades 4-8 (Girls & Boys)
No sewing experience necessary! For girls and boys to learn hand sewing basics and leave with a project! Beginners will learn basic hand sewing techniques, while the more experienced students can expand on skills they already have. Learn how to thread a needle, tie a knot, four basic stitches (running stitch, back stitch, blanket stitch, and overcast stitch) and how to sew a button.
Let their creativity run wild as they explore fabric and the capabilities of using a needle and thread. Each child will get to customize their plush monster design, stitch it together and fill it with stuffing. They will create their very own unique monster softie to take home.
